Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

1. Overview

CartPay is a WooCommerce plugin that helps merchants accept cryptocurrency payments through BTCPay Server or compatible payment infrastructure.

2. Merchant Responsibility

Merchants are responsible for their own products, pricing, taxes, refunds, shipping, customer support, and legal compliance in their country or region.

3. Cryptocurrency Payments

Cryptocurrency payments may be irreversible and can depend on blockchain confirmation times. Merchants should verify payment status before fulfilling orders.

4. Non-Custodial Service

CartPay is designed as a non-custodial checkout integration. The plugin does not hold, store, or manage merchant funds.

5. Third-Party Services

The plugin may rely on third-party services such as BTCPay Server, WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting providers, and blockchain networks. We are not responsible for issues caused by those third-party systems.

6. License and Pro Features

Some features may require an active license. Licenses may be suspended, revoked, or expired if misuse, unauthorized redistribution, or policy violations are detected.

7. No Warranty

The plugin is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, compatibility with every WordPress setup, or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CartPay is not liable for loss of revenue, data, business interruption, payment delays, blockchain issues, or indirect damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the plugin means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact
